The Full Package:
This is recommended for anyone applying for their first Top Secret security clearance. I will walk you through this complicated process from application to approval. We will start by working together to ensure that your e-Qip SF-86 application for security clearance is completed thoroughly, accurately and in a manner that will expedite your clearance process. Next I will will brief your file with the same thoroughness and tenacity I would with any of the investigations I work for Uncle Sam. The greatest benefit to you will be our mock interview together. During this two to three hours you will learn what your actual sworn interview will entail and become comfortable with the questions and your responses. After we finish the interview I will provide you with copies of all of the questions asked of you, advice on how to better answer your investigator's questions and a break down of what employments, residences, educational institutions and personal contacts are likely to be contacted during the course of your investigation. I will provide advice to you all the way up to your real interview. With this package I am so confident that I can help you obtain your clearance that I offer a full refund should your clearance be denied.
After I brief your case in the same manner your investigator will, you and I will spend two to three hours in a mock interview, during which you will learn what your actual sworn interview will entail and become comfortable with the questions and your responses. After we finish the interview I will provide you with copies of all of the questions asked of you as well as advice on how to better answer your investigator's questions.
Assessment of what items will be covered:
After obtaining from you a history of your residences, schools and employers, I will provide you a break down of what employments, residences, educational institutions and personal contacts are likely to be contacted during the course of your investigation. This will allow you to inform your former associates that they may be contacted as part of your investigation and may also be a good catalyst to make you mend fences with some old foes.
Issue Specific Concerns:
$150 per issue
This is my most popular service. If you are concerned about just one or two issues in your past, such as drug usage, finances, etc., I will go over all the questions your investigator is likely to ask and what follow-up will likely be conducted by your investigator. I will also brief you on the adjudicative standards for those issues and go over a few real life examples of cases that have been adjudicated with those issues in recent past.
Check SF-86 or SF-85 for completeness:
I have provided excellent advice HERE for completing your e-QIP security clearance application, but having a professional review your application is always best. Completing your SF-86 correctly can dramatically decrease the time it takes you to obtain a security clearance. Omissions and mistakes that come to light only during your personal interview with your background investigator will likely mean that additional checks or fieldwork will need to be completed, delaying the closure of your investigation. The questions seem straight forward and simple, but almost no one completes their application for security clearance perfectly.
Preparation of appeal:
In the unfortunate event that your security clearance is denied, you need to act very quickly to launch your appeal. Together we will craft your appeal, disputing information that may be incorrect in your report of investigation and providing the Administrative Judge with mitigating factors. Some applicants are entitled to an in-person hearing before an Administrative Judge and some are not. Please contact me immediately to begin a course of action.
Please note that there is a $200 surcharge on The Full Package and Mock Interview for CBP and ICE applicants. This is because these agencies have additional forms that need to be reviewed.
The above rates are for video chat and telephone consultations. I will be happy to meet in person, but travel expenses may apply.
